Alpha and Omega International Pte Ltd Problem/Objective:
Alpha & Omega is a dedicated intellectual property consultancy firm that processes many IP cases for both local and overseas clients on a daily basis. The processing of IP cases for clients is very paper based and can be very labour intensive if not well automated. The main objective was to be able to process more cases with existing resources and at the same time be able to quickly inform clients about the statuses of their cases with the assistance of a fully automated workflow management system that is complex but easy to use and also cost-efficient for small company as Alpha.
The Challenge:
The main challenge faced by Alpha was its inability to easily inform clients about the status of the case(s) in a prompt manner due to the many deadlines involved in the process that needed to be tracked and manually processed in the past. While the expertise present in the company allowed Alpha to take on more cases and clients, the labour intensive workflow was a challenge to be solved for the company to stay competitive and profitable while growing the business.
